Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Dipper mobile application. By using Dipper you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use Dipper
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Dipper only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
You can browse places and use the randomizer without an account. Social features — groups, chat, votes, reviews and photos — require you to sign up. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@dipper-app.com if you think someone else has access.
3. Content you post
You keep ownership of the reviews, photos, messages and lists you create. By posting them you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving Dipper. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already distributed to other users and for anonymised content retained as described in our deletion policy.
You promise that what you post is yours to post, is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
4. Rules of conduct
Our Community Rules form part of these terms. In short: no harassment, hate speech, sexual content, spam, impersonation, fake reviews, or illegal activity. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
5. Place information
Restaurant listings, opening hours, ratings and photos come from third-party providers including HERE and Google, and from other Dipper users. We do not verify this information. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always check with the venue directly before relying on it, particularly for allergies, dietary requirements, accessibility, prices or opening times.
6. Randomizer
The spin wheel and dice are for fun. Results are generated at random from the list you chose and are not a recommendation, endorsement, or ranking of any venue.
7. Availability
Dipper is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in any particular country. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue Dipper entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
8. Cost
Dipper is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you clearly before you are asked to pay for anything.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising out of your visit to, meal at, or dealings with any venue you found through Dipper. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Dipper and delete your account at any time — see the deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms or the Community Rules, or where we must do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Dipper after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
